Accutane’s Pregnancy Risk: Are Women Aware?

Oct. 14, 2007 — Some women apparently aren’t getting the communication that they shouldn’t take the acne drug Isotretinoin and its ware versions during pregnancy.

That well-publicized risk is stressed in collection from the drug’s makers.
The FDA also recently tightened its rules to try to prevent pregnant women from taking Isotretinoin or its vino versions.
The drug’s old pregnancy prevention announcement was solo.
It wasn’t always heeded, a new study shows.
The researchers included Julia Robertson of the Modification Defects and Genetics Computer program in Utah’s upbeat territorial division.
Their findings appear online in Get-go Defects Enquiry (Part A): Clinical and Molecular Teratology.
